IWGA President: China Visit

In their eleventh edition, the quadrennial inter-provincial multi-sport games bring together 15,133 athletes from 46 teams competing in 33 sports and in 362 events.

President Hu Jintao officially opened the 11th China National Games in Jinan on Friday, 16 October. Find out more, click here!

IWGA President Ron Froehlich was among the international sports leaders invited to attend the games. During his short visit to China he met with Liu Peng, Minister in charge of the General Administration of Sport and President of the Chinese Olympic Committee.
