2009 Kaohsiung: Qualifying

The 2008 World Flying Disc Championships were held on the campus of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. More than 1,600 athletes from 21 countries participated.

Aside from determining this year's World Champions, the week-long event served to qualify the six teams which will get the opportunity to contest the gold medal in the ultimate tournament of The World Games 2009 Kaohsiung.

Based on an elaborate system which considered the Vancouver results in several divisions, the following national teams have qualified for the mixed tournament which will be played at the World Games Stadium between July 19 and 21, 2009:

Australia

Canada

Great Britain

Japan

United States of America

Chinese Taipei
